Job summary

ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater in Brooklyn is seeking a thoughtful ballet educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year, teaching Saturday Ballet IA/IIB and Senior Company B Ballet to developing dancers.

You will foster strong classical technique, artistry, alignment, and joyful movement while collaborating with a creative team and communicating with families. The role includes performance commitments (Nutcracker, Masters of Style) with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced ballet educator.
• Enjoy teaching children and teens.
• Strong communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, age-appropriate ballet classes rooted in classical technique.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum consistency.
• Communicate professionally with families and studio leadership.
• Participate in annual productions and rehearsals (Nutcracker, Masters of Style).
• Remain flexible for additional class opportunities as scheduled.
