Job summary

Itape in Blythewood, SC, is hiring a Mixing Oper-Level 1/A/Trainee (Saturation Machine Operator). The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and is an hourly, non-exempt, full-time position. You will support the Saturation department, operate machinery, maintain quality, and participate in safety training.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, and able to lift 50 lbs, work in high humidity and heat, and handle overtime/shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; basic math and communication skills required.
• Manufacturing experience in coating, web handling or extrusion preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot/humid environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Blythewood Plant Safety Program and complete safety training.
• Operate Saturation machinery with attention to quality, safety and productivity.
• Maintain data/records and perform in-process quality testing.
• Change-over, start-up, monitor, and adjust equipment to maintain quality and output.
• Complete required training including Hazardous Waste Handler duties.
