Job summary

K2 Space Corporation is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to oversee satellite operations during testing and pre-launch phases. You will define test plans and collaborate across teams to ensure spacecraft functionality and performance.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting spacecraft. The position offers a salary between $100,000 and $140,000, plus equity, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, computer, or other engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in integration/test/automation engineering (includes internships).
• Hands-on experience testing spacecraft and troubleshooting related components.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to define test plans with pass/fail criteria.
• Develop test procedures to confirm hardware and software flightworthiness.
• Operate spacecraft during system tests at factory and launch sites.

Skills

Experience with electrical test equipment

Testing and troubleshooting spacecraft

Conflict resolution skills

Proficiency in Python and/or Rust

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline

Tools

HITL or Flatsat software verification testbeds

ESD-sensitive equipment
