Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a skilled embedded software engineer to design and implement software for satellites and ground systems supporting a 3GPP 5G networking stack.

Responsibilities include across-the-board SDLC participation, real-time embedded development in C/C++/Rust, and debugging using logic analyzers and signal analysis. A strong Linux/RTOS background is required, with prior experience in embedded software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience in new or existing systems.
• Experience programming in C/C++, Python, Java or Perl.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for satellites and ground systems related to a 3GPP 5G networking stack.
• Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements, design, code, test, and coverage.
• Develop embedded software modules in C/C++, Rust or other languages for 3GPP 5G/O-RAN interfaces.
• Work with Linux and RTOS in real-time embedded environments.
• Review schematics, logic analyzers, wireless signals and embedded software troubleshooting.
