Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a satellite broadband network and seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to help define and implement the software stack for the Leo constellation.

You will develop embedded modules and test frameworks for the 3GPP 5G NTN and Open RAN based networking, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including RF hardware and silicon design to optimize low‑latency, high‑reliability connectivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• Experience with Linux environments and embedded software.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python or Java, and debugging across stacks.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for satellites and ground systems.
• Participate in SDLC from requirements to validation and deployment.
• Work on 3GPP 5G networking stack and Open RAN interfaces.
• Collaborate with RF, hardware, and software teams to ensure reliability.
