Job summary

Newport Academy is seeking a Culinary Wizard for our central kitchen in Orange, CA. You will craft meals and snacks for residents, families, and guests, and bring creativity to our mealtime experiences.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the kitchen, preparing multiple meals daily, supporting special events, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in line with health regulations.

Qualifications

• 1.5–3 years of kitchen experience with basic prep and cooking skills.
• Food safety certification preferred or required within 30 days of hire.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Food safety certificate through the state, county, or ServSafe preferred. It is required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience of 1.5 - 3 years in various kitchen settings with demonstrated basic food prep and cooking skills

Compensation for this role ranges from $22.50-$28 per hour depending on education and experience.
