Job summary

Viasat is seeking an entry-level Test Engineer to help develop and perform testing on our satellite network ecosystem. You will write test automation, develop pipelines, and provide API support for modems and terminals.

Prepare automated test procedures, debug tests, and support customers. This site-based role requires working from the Carlsbad office with relocation assistance available. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks and understand complex system architectures.

Responsibilities

• Write test automation, develop test pipelines, and API support for satellite network modems and terminals.
• Prepare automated test procedures, debug failed tests, and support customer needs.
• Shepherd test system deployment from hardware/software integration to use in design verification and production.
