Job summary

Intellian Technologies, Inc. in Rockville, MD seeks an RF Engineer to design and develop RF/microwave transceivers from antenna to modem interfaces.

You will participate in prototype bring-up, testing, and qualification of SATCOM radios for user terminals, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across hardware and software domains. The role requires hands-on lab work with RF equipment, test procedures, and scripting in Python to develop test codes for radio validation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in RF/microwave or electromagnetic theory required.
• 3+ years of testing and characterization of microwave circuits (high-power amplifiers, PLLs).
• Experience with linear/non-linear RF circuits (PA, LNA, mixers, filters, PLLs).

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate RF front-end systems with cross-functional teams.
• Assist schematic designs and validation.
• Design and test RF/microwave circuits, boards, and production packages.
• Suggest components, evaluate prototypes, and analyze radio performance.
• Develop automated lab testing with Python.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on production testing.
