Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. This contract role covers SAT Reading/Writing tutoring for grades 9-12 at a local learning center.

Tutors work 4–12 hours per week, with sessions typically 60 minutes, and pay ranges from $50 to $60 per hour. Materials are provided; no marketing is required.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Reading/Writing section of the Digital SAT.
• Strong past test scores.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A passion for helping others learn.

Responsibilities

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Location of Tutoring: Established Local Learning Center

The Position:

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2PM and 8PM EST during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days

• 4-12 hours per week of availability

• Earned Bachelor’s Degree
