AJ Tutoring Inc. in the Bay Area seeks bright, energetic tutors for in-person one-to-one test prep sessions. We value educators who are college graduates, excel in communicating with students and parents, and stay organized and punctual while delivering high-quality tutoring.

We offer strong hourly wages (+ admin time), merit-based raises, paid training, and ongoing support from mentors. Flexible part-time or full-time schedules help you grow with our central Bay Area offices.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4 year college degree.
• Master the SAT/ACT or an AP-level subject (Pre-Calculus/Calculus, Physics, CS, English, History, Biology, or Chemistry).
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week plus admin work.
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Work at AJ Tutoring through June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 test prep sessions in-person at Bay Area offices.
• Communicate progress with students, parents, and supervisors.
• Maintain organization and punctuality in tutoring schedules.

Test Prep Tutors Wanted! Beautiful Office, Great Training! $35/hr +. Join the most professional 1-on-1 tutoring team in the Bay Area. If you’re bright, energetic, and eager to meet students in person, we’d love to talk with you!

Ideal test prep tutors are:

• Passionate about education
• Experienced in working with students
• An expert in your subject and a college graduate
• Conscientious, punctual, reliable, and on top of organizational tasks
• Excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues

• Team-oriented and coachable

Test Prep tutors must:

• Have a 4 year college degree
• Master the SAT/ACT or an academic subject at the high school AP level (Pre-Calculus or Calculus, Physics, Computer Science, English, History, Biology, or Chemistry)
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the school year (June 2027)
