Position Overview:

This role focuses heavily on Mechanical-Piping and is responsible for promoting Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. The primary purpose of this position is to work on design and perform 3D layout of complex scope, potentially serving as Design Area Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct reviews of models using 3D review platforms and create 3D models of moderate to advanced complexity.
  2. Apply project drawing standards to design drawings and 3D layouts.
  3. Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of advanced complexity.
  4. Review drawings and vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements, actively seeking discrepancy resolution.
  5. Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations.
  6. Adhere to industry codes, standards, and departmental practices and procedures.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
