Job summary

Monroe County Schools is seeking an Attendance SAT Site Coordinator - PES to support SAT referrals, organize meetings, and ensure adherence to the SAT process with a focus on minimizing disruption to instruction.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, administration, School Based Probation Officer, and Community in Schools Liaison to improve student attendance and engagement for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Valid WV Teaching Certificate preferred.
• SAT experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with teachers and administration on SAT scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, scheduling, conducting and following up on SAT referrals and related meetings.
• Schedule and prepare for 5-day attendance meetings.
• Coordinate with School Based Probation Officer and Community in School Liaison to minimize instructional disruption.
• Develop plans for students to attend school daily and report quarterly to the Director of Special Education.
