Job summary

GradePower Learning Lakeland is seeking a Higher Level Math/English Tutor for in-person, part-time work in Lakeland, FL. You will tutor 9th–12th grade students, focusing on algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2, with SAT/ACT tutoring opportunities.

You'll teach with pre-planned lessons, build a flexible schedule (2:30pm–7:00pm shifts), and contribute to student progress through regular updates and notes. Strong English and math skills, reliability, and the ability to manage up to three students at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a college/university is preferred
• Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a 9th to 12th grade level is preferred
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong math skills with ability to teach algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Teach in-person

• Fill in post-lesson notes
• Complete daily student communication updates
