Job summary

GradePower Learning Largo is seeking a Higher-Level Math & English Tutor for a part-time, in-person role in Largo, FL. You’ll work after-school hours (2:30 pm–7:00 pm) and optional Saturdays (10:00 am–1:00 pm), tutoring 9th–12th graders in Algebra 1, geometry, and Algebra 2.

No lesson planning required; all lessons are pre-planned and you’ll be trained in GradePower Learning’s proprietary methods. Applicants should have strong English skills and be comfortable teaching math; SAT/ACT tutoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in college/university preferred.
• Experience teaching math to 9th–12th grade level preferred.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time in person.
• Teaching in-person and following GradePower Learning methodologies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
