Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors in North Carolina seeks energetic SAT/ACT Test Prep Tutors to empower students in a private in-home setting. We hire only the best educators who are passionate about shaping young minds and helping students succeed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid North Carolina Professional Educator License or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at a U.S. or Canadian university is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAT/ACT Test Preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans to help students understand material, not just memorize.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to match student needs.
• Collaborate with parents to communicate progress and challenges.

• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• You are knowledgeable about SAT / ACT Test Preparation.
• You're currently in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, Leesville.
