Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking energetic, enthusiastic educators to join our in-home tutoring team across the United States. We value driven professionals who customize lessons to help students understand concepts, not just memorize facts.

You will collaborate with parents and tailor instruction to support learners of all ages and subjects. Qualified teachers or candidates pursuing a Bachelor of Education or educator preparation program are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License (NCDPI).
• Qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or approved educator preparation program.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at a U.S. or Canadian university.
• Knowledgeable about high school science.
• Currently located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, Leesville.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the NC Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans for understanding the material, not just memorization.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to challenge or support students.
• Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, struggles, and successes.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• You're a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You're a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• You are knowledgeable about high school science.
• You're currently in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, Leesville.
