The Sylvan Teacher is responsible for creating a positive personal learning experience for students by teaching students using Sylvan program materials. Using the program materials, the teacher creates balanced and robust learning experiences for students. The Sylvan Teacher evaluates student progress on each assignment, communicates this progress, and works with Center staff to ensure learning is personal for each student. Teaching ratio is up to 4 students to 1 teacher. Some programs may be offered virtually or be taught in group classes.
This specific position may teach SAT, ACT, GRE, GED, ASVAB, essay writing skills, study skills, and other college prep or career prep tutoring needs. This position needs to be someone with versatile experience with upper-level/speciality programs of this nature.
