Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Firewall Analyst II in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid role with 3 days on-site. You will engineer, support, and optimize Palo Alto SASE and related inspection zone technologies in a large enterprise, collaborating with Security Operations, Network Engineering, and Incident Response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering and lifecycle support of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Experience with SASE platforms such as Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and Strata Cloud Manager.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and SASE connectivity design.
• Cloud-delivered security controls including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and threat prevention.
• Automation experience with Python or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation, support, and lifecycle management of Palo Alto SASE solutions integrated with Inspection Zone technologies.
• Design, deploy, and optimize cloud-delivered security controls per SASE architecture.
• Provide advanced engineering support for SASE and Inspection Zone platforms with cross-functional teams.
• Drive monitoring, telemetry integration, and policy enforcement across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Execute system hardening, high availability, and service continuity planning for SASE and on-prem.
• Apply threat intelligence to reduce risk and improve maturity.
• Develop and report operational and security metrics for leadership.
