Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a seasoned technical product/program manager to lead cross-functional programs for the satellite broadband initiative. You will collaborate with PMT and engineers to drive roadmaps, schedules, and delivery against business needs.

You will own program plans, manage risks, coordinate releases, and establish scalable processes while communicating with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure successful deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and release schedules.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning driving roadmap strategy and feature delivery.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions.
• Experience representing stakeholders during executive prioritization.

Export Control Requirement

Key job responsibilities

• Understand business requirements working with PMT, Business stakeholders, super users
• Work with engineering teams (SAP Developers, Functional designers, process designers, security, Admin and other members) to understand the effort needed
• Build project plans and sprint schedules understanding engineering team bandwidth
• Manage dependencies inside and outside of the team to get the team answers on time, unblock the team and execute to aligned project plan and business need by dates
• Identify and elevate risks, manage issue resolution
• Bring in project management best practices , setup right processes, align with existing processes to delivery results
• Coordinate training and Change Management ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of product features
• Earn trust from the engineering team, stakeholders and leadership
• Setup Jira and other tools used for capturing and running projects and sprint cadence.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
