Job summary

C5MI is seeking an SAP TM Consultant to design, configure, and optimize SAP Transportation Management solutions. This role analyzes business requirements, delivers high-quality functional designs, collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, and supports clients through testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

Mentoring junior members is also expected. Travel up to 50% is required for workshops, testing, implementation, and go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, logistics or related field.
• SAP TM certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 2+ years SAP TM experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Hands-on configuration of SAP TM: planning, freight execution, carrier selection, optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes transportation management requirements and translates them into functional specifications.
• Configures SAP TM capabilities including planning, freight order management, carrier selection, tendering and optimization.
• Performs functional testing, resolves defects, validates end-to-end TM functionality.
• Delivers user guides, configuration documentation, and training materials; trains end users.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with ECC/S/4HANA.
• Provides TM support for issues related to configuration, data and system behavior.
• Supports data migration and interface troubleshooting with technical teams.
• Stays current on SAP TM enhancements and industry best practices.
• Mentors junior team members and contributes to knowledge sharing.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for workshops, testing, implementation and go-live.
• Adheres to certified processes and information security standards.
