Job Title: Testing lead

Location: White Plains, NY - Remote/Onsite (as required)

Duration: 9 Months Contract (End date - 5/18/2026)

It is for Public Utility client

Onsite Expectations – Mostly Remote, onsite during UAT (4/2026 and 5/2026)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the overall testing strategy for the SAP S/4HANA program, covering unit, integration, system, user acceptance, and regression testing.
Define test objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables for each phase of the implementation.
Establish test environments, data management plans, and entry/exit criteria for all test cycles.
Identify and manage risks related to testing, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
Lead the execution of all testing activities from build through deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate test planning and execution across functional, technical, and business teams.
Oversee creation and review of test cases, scripts, and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.
Manage defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.

Stakeholder Management

Engage with business process owners, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes.
Facilitate regular status updates, test progress reporting, and issue escalation to program leadership.
Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), including planning, coordination, and sign-off.
Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous SAP or ERP programs.
Recommend process improvements for future testing cycles and broader QA initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience in SAP testing, with at least 2 years in a test lead or test manager role on SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP implementations.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules, business processes, and integration points.
Proven track record in developing and executing testing strategies for large-scale transformation programs.
Expertise in test management tools, ADO & ADO Test Plan
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies is a plus.
