The SAP Lead ME/MII is a hands-on role providing both functional and technical leadership as part of the SAP Center of Excellence supporting the Supply Chain organization. This position drives the technical architecture, design, and support for SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and MII modules implemented as part of a major transformation project. As the go-to SAP Manufacturing expert, you will collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams, working cross-functionally. This role operates within a high-volume automotive supply chain and requires proactive collaboration with both technical and business teams to identify, resolve, and reduce gaps and process changes.

Overview

The SAP Tech Lead ME/MII is responsible for leading and delivering SAP ME and MII solutions within a major transformation project, driving architecture, design, and implementation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing needs, gather functional requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for SAP ME and MII.
Solution Design: Architect SAP ME and MII solutions, including data integration strategies, custom application development, and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
Configuration & Implementation: Configure SAP ME modules, including production orders, work centers, routing, and data collection, while integrating with shop floor systems.
MII Application Development: Build custom MII applications to collect, process, and display real-time manufacturing data on dashboards, using advanced data visualization tools.
ERP Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between SAP ME/MII and the core ERP system, maintaining accurate data synchronization across modules.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop reports and analytics from shop floor data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
User Training & Support: Provide training to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and offer ongoing support to maximize platform adoption and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in SAP solutions architecture, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP ME and SAP MII, including MEINT for ERP integration.
Experience delivering technical enterprise solutions and producing enterprise guidelines and standards.
Technical Skills: Expertise in integrating SAP ERP with SAP ME/MII.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and technical concepts.
Ability to solve technical problems efficiently and lead complex projects.
Ability to coordinate, manage, and own projects while resolving technical process changes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts.
Experience engaging with customers to identify business needs.
Strategic mindset with analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter who works independently and collaboratively within a team.
