Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking an SAP Technical Business Analyst specializing in FICO to translate finance requirements into precise SAP configurations and BRD documentation.

You will manage testing and deployment, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide end-user training and support across AR, AP, GL, and other FICO functions. The role requires 2-5 years in SAP FI/CO, expertise in SAP ECC/S/4 HANA, and strong communication skills to work with diverse teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or accounting field.
• 2-5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO business analyst or related role.
• Expert in SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA, basic knowledge of other modules of SAP preferred for cross functional delivery.
• Experience planning and executing large projects.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Translate Finance requirements for financial accounting, Treasury, and Tax into detailed functional specs with global considerations.
• Develop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.
• Configure and implement SAP FICO (AR, AP, Costing, GL, FA, etc.) to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and translate into SAP requirements.
• Document requirements and prepare BRD; maintain SAP FICO configurations and training materials.
• Debug and troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and suggest improvements.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
• Provide training and support to end-users of SAP FICO.

Job Overview

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure Finance business requirements for various financial accounting, Treasury, and Tax packages and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications and consider cross functional impacts, associated risks, cost benefit analysis, business justification, audit guidelines and global support requirementsDevelop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes
• Configuring and implementing the SAP FICO module to meet business requirements i.e. AR, AP, Costing, GL, FA etc.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into SAP system requirements
• Document the requirements and prepare BRD
• Debugging and troubleshooting SAP FICO issues, as well as suggesting necessary improvements
• Developing and implementing testing strategies and documenting the results
• Providing technical support and training to end-users of the SAP FICO module
• Working with project managers and business analysts to align the SAP FICO module with business strategies
• Creating and maintaining documentation of SAP FICO configurations, procedures, and training materials
• Staying up-to-date with the latest SAP FICO updates and enhancements and adapting them to the business environment

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or accounting field
• 2-5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO business analyst or related role
• Expert in SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA, basic knowledge of other modules of SAP preferred for cross functional delivery
• Previous experience planning and executing large projects
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
• Effective change management skills
• Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

Additional Information

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $110,000-$120,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
