As a Senior Application Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and integrating user interfaces across diverse platforms such as mobile, web, and tablet. Utilizing standard tools and agile methodologies, your contributions will be crucial in delivering technological solutions that drive our organization's revenue generation.

Your key responsibilities
  1. Identify customer requirements and develop front-end components and services that are integral to our software architecture.
  2. Define and execute deliverables with efficiency.
  3. Manage completion of deliverables and maintain engagement economics reports.
  4. Track resource plans and budgets, and handle project statuses.
  5. Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead.
  6. Travel is required based on client needs, and you will be expected to maintain a chargeability level with billable hours to external clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  1. A four-year Bachelor's degree is required.
  2. Experience typically preferred is 2-4 years in a relevant field specifically working with integrations with SAP systems.
  3. Design and implement SAP integration scenarios using various integration tools & platforms (e.g. SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, SAP Integration Suite’s set of capabilities: Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).
  4. Hands-on experience implementing interfaces with SAP solutions using various technologies like APIs (ODATA, SOAP), Events, ABAP Proxies, RFCs, IDOCs, Files, etc.
  5. Experience developing integration architecture and strategies to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
  6. Experience working with adapters such as ODATA, SOAP, AMPQ, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDOC, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, XI.
  7. Familiarity with security best practices for integrations, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  8. Knowledge of tools for monitoring integrations and troubleshooting issues (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).
  9. Experience building B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (e.g. ANSI X12/EDIFACT).
  10. Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  11. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  12. Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts.
  13. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address integration challenges and optimize processes.
  15. A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  1. Experience working in cross-functional teams (development, operations, business) to build & design holistic integration architecture solutions highly preferred.
  2. Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
  3. SAP Certification/s.
  4. Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
