Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking a Value Advisor - SAP Supply Chain to join our team. You will design scalable backend systems, contribute to technical architecture decisions and collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, high-performing enterprise solutions.

You will lead discovery workshops, map current-state operations and develop transformation roadmaps for SAP EWM, SAP TM and related logistics tech, including automation and AI integration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in supply chain or logistics consulting, SAP SCM advisory, value engineering or solution consulting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse and transportation operations with SAP EWM/TM.
• Proven experience running discovery sessions and building business or value cases.
• Strong financial and operational literacy linking productivity gains to cost and working capital.
• Hands-on curiosity about AI and emerging technology with applied examples.
• Excellent storytelling, executive presence and written English.
• Degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, operations or business; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and business consulting engagements for SAP supply chain projects.
• Plan and lead discovery workshops and site walk-throughs across inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound, yard and transport.
• Map current-state operations and KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy and dock-to-stock time.
• Develop transformation roadmaps for SAP EWM, SAP TM, Yard Logistics and S/4HANA alignment.
• Advise on automation, robotics integration, and multi-site rollout strategies.
• Identify AI opportunities: slotting, demand-driven labor planning, predictive ETA and routing optimization.
• Build business cases with baselines, ROI and NPV; defend value to operations, finance and procurement.
• Co-own deal strategy with Account Executive and drive demos and solution designs.
