Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Financial Analyst/Functional Consultant to lead SAP Accounts Payable blueprinting and cross-functional design efforts within a complex enterprise environment.

You will facilitate workshops, develop test scenarios, and map business processes in Signavio, while coordinating with PMO and agile teams. A Bachelor’s with SAP ERP emphasis is required, plus 5+ years of relevant experience and willingness to travel 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or IT with SAP ERP emphasis.
• 5+ years in Financial/Business Analyst or Functional Consultant role.
• Experience with SAP S4 MM AP, OpenText VIM, and SAP FICO.
• Experience in blueprinting sessions and BPMN diagrams.
• Willing to travel 5%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Current and Future State Accounts Payable Workshops.
• Collaborate across levels to secure sign-offs on designs and deliverables.
• Align financial postings with RTP Transactions (AP, Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, PR/PO Commitments, GR/IR Write-offs, Invoices, Payments).
• Create and review deliverables for BOP and IT development (Features, User Stories, Test Scenarios).
• Create BPMN business process flow diagrams in Signavio per BPMNS 2.0.
• Plan UAT scenarios and write/review test scripts for Accounts Payable.
• Plan E2E test scenarios up to the Global Ledger.
• Input/review/approve change impact matrices and training materials for MM-Accounts Payable.
• Lead/support RTP/PTD PMO and Scrum Team activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of Current and Future State Accounts Payable Workshops ("Blueprinting")
• Working across all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and obtain required sign‑offs on designs and deliverables
• Aligning/evaluating Financial postings/accounts with/against RTP Transactions (e.g., Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, PR/PO Commitments, GR/IR Write‑offs, Invoices, Payments) – in support of all RTP/PTD Solution Practices (Request to Source, Materials Management, Accounts Payable, Vendor Tooling)
• Creation and/or review of deliverables in support of the BOP process as well as the IT development process (e.g., Features, User Stories, Test Scenarios and Scripts, etc.)
• Business process mapping (creation of business process flow diagrams) in Signavio following BPMNS 2.0 methodology
• User Acceptance Testing – planning of scenarios, writing and/or reviewing test scripts for Accounts Payable
• Planning of E2E test scenarios to ensure correct flow up to Global Ledger
• Input, review, and approval of change impact analysis matrices and training materials for MM‑Accounts Payable
• Leading/supporting internal RTP/PTD PMO (Project Management) and Scrum Team activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, business administration, finance, accounting with SAP ERP emphasis) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 or more years in a Financial/Business Analyst or Functional Consultant role
• Experience with SAP – primarily S4 MM Accounts Payable / Open Text VIM and SAP FICO, and ideally also with SAP S4 MRP, Materials and Inventory Management, SAP S4 Purchase Orders, Contracts, or Scheduling Agreements
• Experience in planning and executing Business Process Blueprinting sessions
• Experience in Business Process Flow diagramming
• Experience in Project Management
• Experience in Atlassian Jira and SAP CALM
• Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, and MS Visio
• Passion to use AI and ideally experience in creating Agents in GLEAN
• Must be willing to travel 5%
