Beacon Systems is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to support a global medical device client in developing and guiding their SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation strategy for the Service & Repair business unit. This role involves leading workshops, analyzing current processes, presenting migration options, and demonstrating the SAP S/4HANA Service solution to key stakeholders.

This is a part-time, remote contract role providing strategic expertise and solution leadership during the early phases of the client’s S/4HANA journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the client’s current Service & Repair processes and IT landscape, including SAP ECC configuration.
2. Develop and recommend S/4HANA migration strategies aligned with business objectives.
3. Lead workshops with stakeholders; document findings and action plans.
4. Configure and demonstrate SAP S/4HANA Service Management capabilities to support decision-making.
5. Contribute to business case development and roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 full project lifecycles as an SAP Solution Architect or Consultant focused on Service & Repair.
2. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Service Management and legacy SAP CS modules.
3. Strong understanding of service processes and related integrations.
4. Experience with SAP configuration, template design, and business process consulting.
5. Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and client-facing presentation skills.
6. Ability to travel to client sites if required (minimal).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Industry experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Process Manufacturing.
2. Experience as a Solution Architect for Service & Repair in S/4HANA projects.
3. Familiarity with SAP Service Cloud, SAP Field Service Management, and SAP integrations with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
4. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementations.
