You will lead end-to-end SAP designs across S/4HANA modules, with deep PS expertise, material ledger costing, and governance for government contracting programs (ITAR/EAR). This role requires US citizenship and involves travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP experience with hands-on S/4HANA exposure at a Solution Architect level.
• Project Systems (PS) is a core, heavily practiced skill.
• Material Ledger costing expertise is required.
• Experience with logistics and inventory management (MM/WM/IM) is required.
• Experience with production planning (PP) is required.
• Delivery experience in commercial and defense/government contracting environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP architecture.
• U.S. citizenship is required for government contracting programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead architect on SAP implementations and sustainment engagements across commercial and DOD/government environments.
• Own PS solution design — WBS, scheduling, milestone management, revenue recognition, integration with CO/PP/MM/SD.
• Architect Material Ledger costing — actual costing, multi-currency valuation, cost components.
• Design logistics and inventory management solutions across procurement, warehouse, and materials management.
• Lead production planning (PP/PP-PI) design, integrated with project and cost structures.
• Translate government contracting requirements (DCAA, EVM, ITAR/EAR) into scalable SAP architecture.
• Guide cross-functional design decisions and mentor functional consultants.
• Travel up to 25% to support client engagements.

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned SAP Solution Architect to lead solution design across S/4HANA commercial and defense/government implementations. This is a senior-level role for an industry expert who can architect end-to-end solutions spanning finance, logistics, and project-driven manufacturing — with deep, hands-on Project Systems (PS) expertise as the core differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead architect on SAP implementations and sustainment engagements across commercial and A&D/government contracting environments
• Own Project Systems (PS) solution design — WBS structuring, network/activity scheduling, milestone management, revenue recognition, and integration across CO, PP, MM, and SD
• Architect Material Ledger costing — actual costing, multi-currency valuation, and cost component structure
• Design logistics and inventory management solutions across procurement, warehouse, and materials management
• Lead production planning (PP/PP-PI) solution design, integrated with project and cost structures
• Translate government-contracting requirements — DCAA compliance, earned value management, contract-based revenue recognition — into scalable SAP architecture
• Guide cross-functional design decisions and mentor functional consultants
• Travel up to 25% to support client engagements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with significant hands-on S/4HANA exposure, operating at a Solution Architect level
• Project Systems (PS) as a core, heavily practiced skill — peripheral exposure won't clear the bar
• Strong background in Material Ledger costing
• Experience with logistics and inventory management (MM/WM/IM)
• Experience with production planning (PP)
• Direct, hands-on delivery experience in both commercial and defense/government contracting environments
• Ability to operate as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into scalable, compliant SAP architecture
• Must be a U.S. citizen, as this role supports government contracting programs subject to federal and export control requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)

Required Skills

• SAP PMMO (project stock management, contract-to-build flows)
• Government cost accounting (DCAA-compliant indirect rate pools, CAS-aligned allocation)
• Earned value management (EVM) experience
• ITAR/EAR-controlled item handling
• Familiarity with A&D estimating/proposal platforms (Dassian, Cognitus, Twenty5)

Pay Range

$120–$160/hour
