Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to support SAP/SCI security programs across contractor locations. The role emphasizes safeguarding sensitive SAP information through strict adherence to security procedures and collaborative coordination with government and contractor teams.

The CSSO will administer the SETA program, implement SAP requirements, develop SOPs for SAPF/SCIF, and manage personnel vetting, PARs, and annual training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of DoD/IC security experience, including SAP/SCI environments.
• A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Completion of foundational CDSE/STEPP security training; SAP-related training is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SAPCO, PSM, PSO, GAM, and CAM to protect SAP information at contractor locations.
• Manage the SETA program and related security operations within the assigned activity.
• Implement SAP security requirements and follow CA SAPCO guidance.
• Develop and execute Security SOPs for the SAPF/SCIF.
• Process PARs, indoctrinations, debriefings, and maintain security files.
• Manage visit certifications and foreign travel reporting for SAP personnel.
• Coordinate SAP security matters with CA SAPCO, PSM, PSO, GAM, or CAM.
• Update records in JADE or successor systems and ensure accurate vetting data.
• Assist with SAP materials management and physical security controls in SAPF/SCIF.
• Maintain inventories, document control, and secure transport/destruction of materials.
