Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security/GRC consultant to support an SAP environment that includes S/4HANA, ECC, and EWM. This person will work with an existing offshore team and serve as a U.S.-based resource who can provide guidance when needed, help troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing SAP security activities. The primary focus of the role is SAP Security. GRC experience is also needed, although the current GRC work is not particularly complex.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Security activities across S/4HANA, ECC, and EWM.
• Work with the offshore SAP Security team and provide guidance when issues or questions arise.
• Support SAP roles, authorizations, user access, and related security activities.
• Troubleshoot security and authorization issues.
• Support role changes, testing, and remediation as needed.
• Assist with SAP GRC activities, including access controls and risk analysis.
• Work with SAP functional, technical, and cybersecurity teams as needed.
• Help address production issues and security-related escalations.

Current Area of Focus

One of the current projects involves work around security roles in SAP EWM. Previous EWM security or authorization experience would be helpful, but strong overall SAP Security experience is more important.

• Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• SAP GRC experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot SAP security and authorization issues.
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to offshore team members when needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with SAP functional and technical teams.
• Must be based in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• SAP EWM security experience.
• Experience working across ECC, S/4HANA, and EWM.
• Experience with role design or role remediation.
• Previous experience in a senior SAP Security consultant or lead role.

Engagement

• Contract role with a potential contract-to-hire option if there is mutual interest; this is not being positioned as an immediate direct-hire role.
• U.S.-based resource required.
• Looking for someone in the range of a strong senior SAP Security consultant through a developing SAP Security architect.
