Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Charlotte, NC invites an SAP Security Analyst to administer and maintain SAP ECC 6.0 user access, enforce SoD controls, and support SOX compliance. You will work with global stakeholders to ensure secure access aligned to business needs.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in SAP security, experience with ECC 6.0, and familiarity with ServiceNow and IAM concepts. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years SAP security administration experience.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 user and role management.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM tool desirable.
• Experience supporting compliance-driven environments.
• Understanding of SAP authorization concepts.
• Knowledge of user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows.
• Knowledge of Segregation of Duties concepts.
• Understanding of internal controls and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders globally.

Responsibilities

• SAP User Account Administration across ECC environments.
• Process access requests, transfers, and terminations with approvals.
• Maintain accuracy of user master data.
• Support provisioning processes (e.g., ZCAT, SU01).
• SAP Role Assignment, modification, and removal per design.
• Validate access requests against role design and concepts.
• Enforce least-privilege access principles.
• Execute SoD checks and monitor conflicts with SecurityWeaver.
• Support periodic access reviews and SOX compliance activities.
• Document and maintain SAP security procedures and evidence.
• Process ServiceNow SAP security tickets within SLAs.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and system migrations.
• Participate in continuous improvement of SAP security processes.
