Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP SD solutions with a primary focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including sales orders, delivery, shipping, billing, and invoicing; ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Architect integrations within the SD module to support cross-functional operations, ensuring seamless interaction with Project Systems (PS) and other SAP modules (MM, FICO, PP).
• Develop and configure solutions to optimize order fulfillment, inventory allocation, and real-time availability checks.
• Design and implement pricing strategies, including complex condition techniques, rebates, discounts, surcharges, and customer-specific pricing rules.
• Gather and document functional requirements with stakeholders across departments and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Streamline manufacturing and distribution domain processes in line with SAP best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define custom development requirements, create functional specifications, and implement enhancements and integrations.
• Conduct system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) to validate configurations and customizations.
• Provide end-user training and documentation to enable effective use of SAP SD functionalities.
• Maintain and enhance SAP SD configurations to address changing business needs and ensure system stability.
• Stay informed of SAP updates, tools, and technologies and suggest innovative solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Support master data management for SD-related data, including customer, material, and pricing master data.
• Configure and support international processes, including intercompany sales, export sales, and VAT/GST and other taxation rules.
• Monitor and resolve issues; optimize performance and deliver ongoing improvements.
• Lead SAP SD project initiatives, including scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource planning, aligning with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8-10 years of hands-on SAP SD experience, with a focus on leading implementations and O2C processes.
• Proven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting ATP and pricing functionality.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP Project Systems (PS) and other SAP modules.
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution environments with a track record of process improvements.
• SAP certification in SD is preferred but not required.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support.
• Deep understanding of O2C, ATP, and pricing configuration; proficient in SAP PS and other modules integration.
• Architecting integrations for SD, including third-party system interactions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $135,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.
