Job summary

Northpoint Technology is seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant for a Novi, MI project. You will lead Order-to-Cash design, configuration, and support in S/4HANA, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will configure SD/OTC end-to-end, run fit-to-standard workshops, and create specs for RICEF objects. Strong integration with FI/MM/PP and EDI/IDoc expertise are required; a federal security‑clearance-ready profile is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience with at least one full cycle S/4HANA implementation or ECC-to-S/4 conversion.
• Strong pricing, billing, and output determination configuration experience.
• EDI/IDoc experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SD integration with FI, MM, and PP; automotive/industrial background preferred.
• S/4HANA Sales certification is a plus; work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP SD/OTC end to end: orders, pricing, billing, deliveries, returns and intercompany.
• Run fit-to-standard workshops, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes; propose clean-core solutions.
• Write functional specs for RICEF objects and collaborate with ABAP, integration, and Fiori teams.
• Support EDI/IDoc integrations (ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC) and API interfaces.
• Configure and troubleshoot aATP, product allocation, and backorder processing.
• Lead SIT and UAT support, defect triage, and go-live readiness; provide production support.
• Perform root-cause analysis post go-live and ensure stable production operations.

We're hiring a Senior SAP SD Consultant for a global automotive and industrial manufacturing client. You'll lead Order-to-Cash design, configuration, and support in S/4HANA, working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Configure and support SAP SD/OTC end to end: sales orders, pricing and condition technique, delivery, billing, returns, intercompany, third-party, and consignment.
• Run fit-to-standard workshops, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and recommend clean-core solutions.
• Write functional specs for RICEF objects and work with ABAP, integration, and Fiori teams through build and testing.
• Support EDI/IDoc integrations (ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC) and API-based interfaces.
• Configure and troubleshoot aATP, including product allocation and backorder processing.
• Lead SIT and UAT support, defect triage, and go-live readiness.
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis after go-live.

What you bring
