Job description

SAP SD Consultant (Contract Management) ROLE DESCRIPTION :

The SD consultant shall support the lead consultant and should be able to work with instructions from him; however, it is expected that he performs small engagement tasks independently.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working on end-to-end implementations, Roll Out projects, and AMS engagements.
2. Collaborating with teams across the globe and different time zones.
3. Supporting Pre-Sales activities by assisting RFP Lead Architects, helping develop POCs, and delivering customer presentations in addition to normal project work.
4. Gaining experience in segments like Automotive, Life Sciences, Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, etc.
5. Learning new features and modules such as CS, GTS, TM, etc.
6. Assisting Lead Architects in building assets and accelerators within SAP.
7. Adapting quickly to changing environments and developing new skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Minimum 1 year of domain experience and over 6 years of SAP experience.
• At least one end-to-end implementation.
• SAP certification is an advantage.
• In-depth process knowledge of Sales and Distribution, Logistics processes.
• Experience working on customs RICEFW objects to meet business needs.
• Ability to write functional specifications, test scripts, etc.
• Experience with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or conversion project.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA functionalities like BP and features across various versions.
• Understanding of all SAP modules and their integration points, especially with MM and FICO modules.
• Ability to test based on test scripts, create training documents, and some exposure to functional specifications.
• Experience with cutover tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and maturity to work in challenging client environments.
• Willingness to take additional responsibilities and go the extra mile.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
