Job summary

Carman Solutions Group is seeking an SAP SD Consultant for an onsite Memphis engagement. The candidate will lead SD functionality, configure master data, pricing, outputs, and partner functions, and ensure smooth integration with third‑party systems.

The role requires experience with manufacturing clients, OBOM, and US rollout/implementation in the last five years, with strong EDI/IDOCS and debugging skills across ABAP, BASIS, and security. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have recent SAP SD experience in manufacturing with OBOM
• Has rollout or implementation experience in the US within last 5 years
• Experience in SAP SD with S/4 HANA or ECC OTC processes
• SD configuration including master data, pricing, output and partner functions
• Experience with 3rd party integrations for order entry
• Strong knowledge of EDI, IDOCs and interfaces
• Leads functional design and standardization across SAP SD and integrated platform
• Collaborates with ABAP, BASIS, Security, and Integration teams
• Proficient in debugging, RICEF, user exits, BADI, data structures, smartforms, LSMW
• understands SD-PS integration, FI/CO coordination for project settlements
• Contributes to unit testing and supports UAT scenarios

Job Description

• Must have experience working in a manufacturing client (in last 5 years) and should have worked extensively with OBOM. Must have rollout or implementation experience in US in last 5 years
• Worked in S/4 HANA or ECC SAP OTC process.
• Configuration and customization of SD objects – including master data, pricing, output and partner functions.
• Work on integration with 3rd party applications for order entry etc.
• Good Knowledge in EDI, IDOCs and interfaces.
• Knowledge of intercompany, third-party dropship, SO-PO and standard SD processes.
• Serve as the functional lead providing technical and process expertise, driving solution and process standardization across SAP SD and integrated platform
• Participate in solution design, document functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams – ABAP, BASIS, Security, Integration teams.
• Knows how to do basic debugging, understands RICEF, user exits, routines, BADI, Data structures , smartforms and LSMW.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to shape the Solution Architecture, ensuring integration with Finance, Logistics, Project Systems (Good to have ETO/CTO), Supply Chain, and third-party systems
• Understands the integration points between SD and PS, WBS structure, cost and revenue reporting. Coordinate with FI/CO teams for project settlement, result analysis, and revenue recognition
• Conduct unit testing, and support UAT testing and prepare test scenarios.
