Job summary

Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice is seeking a Consultant, Functional Transformation to support SAP-enabled transformation initiatives across the implementation lifecycle.

You will work on SAP S/4HANA programs and ECC-to-S/4HANA transformations, configure SAP functionality, and document requirements while collaborating with business, technical, integration, and data teams to deliver deployment-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in regulated environments with ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
• 2+ years of experience producing or governing implementation deliverables, including design documentation, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, and deployment readiness materials.
• 1+ years of experience delivering SAP implementations, including SAP S/4HANA transformation work.
• 1+ years of experience configuring SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on assignments.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP-enabled transformation across the full implementation lifecycle.
• Assist SAP S/4HANA programs and ECC-to-S/4HANA transformations.
• Document requirements, risks, issues, and decisions with business, technical, integration, and data teams.
• Support design workshops, testing, and deployment activities (unit, integration, UAT, cutover, stabilization).
• Develop, maintain, and govern deliverables including design documents, configuration rationale, test scripts, and deployment readiness materials.
