Job summary

SMX is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Test Developer in Hartford, CT to design, develop, maintain, and execute test assets within an Agile SAFe framework for a DoD SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will support functional, technical, security, Fiori, integration, data conversions, and end-to-end testing across SAP processes and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, may be accepted in place of a degree.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance or test development/execution on enterprise business systems.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on SAP testing experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience across multiple testing phases: functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, UAT.
• DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows into test scenarios, cases, scripts, procedures, and test data.
• Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Execute tests and document results and defects; participate in defect triage.
• Analyze failed tests and develop corrective actions; perform retesting and regression testing.
