Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Security Expert / Security Architect with 15+ years of SAP security experience to lead security activities for a large and complex S/4HANA project.

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level SAP Security professional who can identify the right security solution, make architectural decisions, resolve complex security issues, and provide technical direction to other team members. This is a high-intensity project requiring strong ownership, deep S/4HANA security expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Security architecture and solution design for SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Analyze complex security requirements and identify the appropriate technical solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and direction to SAP Security team members and other technical teams.
• Design, implement, and review SAP roles, authorizations, and security models.
• Support S/4HANA security architecture, including business role design and authorization concepts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Security and authorization issues.
• Review security designs and ensure alignment with project requirements and SAP best practices.
• Work closely with functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams to understand security requirements.
• Provide technical leadership during implementation, testing, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level SAP Security consultants.
• Identify security risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
• Support integration-related security requirements across SAP and third-party systems.
• Participate in security governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Take ownership of critical security deliverables and ensure timely completion in a fast-paced project environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of overall SAP experience, with extensive experience in SAP Security.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Security and Authorizations.
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design, and access controls.
• Strong experience in SAP Security architecture and solution design.
• Ability to independently analyze complex requirements and recommend the right solution.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other SAP Security resources.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
