Job summary

SMX is seeking a software quality assurance professional to collaborate with government stakeholders, system integrators, and security personnel to validate designs, configurations, and release readiness in Lincoln, NE. The role includes planning and executing UAT, creating test data, and documenting results.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2–3 years SAP testing, DoD clearance, and experience across multiple testing phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in IT, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance, test development, or test execution experience on enterprise systems.
• 2–3 years of hands-on SAP testing experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
• Experience supporting testing across multiple phases: functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT.
• DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, stories, acceptance criteria and flows into test scenarios, test cases, scripts and data.
• Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Execute tests and document results and defects; participate in defect triage.
• Analyze failed tests and develop corrective actions.
• Perform retesting and regression testing.
