Job summary

SMX seeks a software quality assurance professional to collaborate with government stakeholders, system integrators, SMEs, and security teams to validate system designs and release readiness. You will support UAT planning, entrance/exit criteria, test evidence collection, reporting, and production-readiness assessments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in QA, plus 2–3 years SAP testing experience (preferred SAP S/4HANA).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, accounting, supply chain, or related field.
5+ years of software quality assurance, test development, or test execution experience on enterprise systems.
At least 2–3 years of hands-on SAP testing experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
Experience across functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and processes into test scenarios, cases, scripts, and data.
Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Execute tests and document results and defects; participate in defect triage.
Analyze failed tests and develop corrective actions; perform retesting and regression testing.
