Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – PA Turnpike Commission is seeking a PMO Project Manager to lead the SAP S/4HANA Wave 2 enhancement initiative. You will oversee multiple IT workstreams, coordinate system integrations, and ensure deliverables, schedules, and budgets align with organizational priorities.

The role is primarily remote with onsite attendance required one week per month in Middletown, PA, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of project management experience across varied projects.
Experience managing SAP/ERP enterprise projects and vendors.
Expert-level skills in integrated project planning using MS Project or MS Project Online.
PMP certification is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate internal and external IT project teams.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans with milestones and dependencies.
Estimate and monitor project costs and budgets.
Plan resource allocation and forecast capacity.
Establish and maintain project governance, roles, escalation paths, and decisions.
Define and refine project scope with business owners.
Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
Coordinate with system integrator project managers and teams.
Maintain project documentation and lessons learned.
Build relationships with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, sponsors, and leadership.
Follow PA Turnpike PMO standards and methodologies.
