Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of SAP ERP functional experience.
• 2 years of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud experience.
• Hands-on SAP FI experience and SAP MM/P2P experience.
• Experience with GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO, purchasing, inventory, and contract management.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident-management, and stakeholder communication skills.

SAP S/4HANA Finance & Procurement Functional Consultant

Job Overview

Client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance & Procurement Functional Consultant to support, configure, and enhance SAP S/4HANA Cloud applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and SAP Sourcing & Procurement / MM / Procure-to-Pay (P2P), with hands‑on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Cloud environments.

This role will work closely with Finance stakeholders, Procurement teams, business users, and technical teams to provide application support, resolve complex issues, implement configuration changes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Application Support

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP Finance and Procurement.
• Support GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.
• Support P2P, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Contract Management.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP application issues and manage incidents through resolution.
• Monitor application processes, alerts, background jobs, and system activities.
• Support SAP background job scheduling and monitoring.
• Maintain compliance with SAP architecture, security, and operational standards.

SAP Finance Configuration

• Perform SAP Finance configuration and issue resolution.
• Analyze approved business requirements and implement appropriate configuration changes.
• Perform in-app configuration and fine‑tuning within SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Identify process gaps and recommend solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.
• Work directly with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Procurement / P2P

• Support and optimize Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Support purchasing, inventory, invoice verification, and contract‑management processes.
• Serve as a functional lead for newly implemented P2P processes.
• Stabilize and enhance procurement functionality following implementation.
• Collaborate with Procurement stakeholders and implementation partners.

Integration & Technical Coordination

• Support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external procurement/invoice‑management applications.
• Coordinate with technical teams on APIs, iFlows, and SAP BTP integrations.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support integration testing.
• Work with developers and technical teams to ensure reliable data exchange.

Release & Testing

• Support SAP's semi‑annual release adoption process.
• Perform regression testing and validate new functionality.
• Support new feature implementation and system updates.
• Document configuration changes, test results, and operational procedures.

User & Access Management

• Maintain SAP user and worker accounts.
• Support business roles, restrictions, and application access.
• Ensure appropriate access to SAP data and functionality.
• Follow established security and governance standards.

Documentation & Training

• Create and maintain configuration guides, SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.
• Conduct end‑user training and knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of SAP ERP functional experience.
• At least 2 years of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud experience.
• Strong hands‑on SAP FI experience.
• Strong SAP MM / Sourcing & Procurement / P2P experience.
