Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA Architecture experience.
• Experience with at least 3 legal entity implementations.
• Experience with at least 2 Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong experience in Finance organizational structure and legal entity design.
• Hands-on experience with Company Code, Plant/Fab, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project Accounting, and Intercompany processes.
• Experience working with SOX controls and external audits.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance solution architecture for establishing a new legal entity.
• Design and configure the SAP organizational structure: Legal Entity, Company Code, Profit Center, Cost Center.
• Evaluate New Legal Entity vs New Plant based on business, legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into a scalable SAP S/4HANA 2023 Finance architecture.
• Design solutions supporting Financial Accounting and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Product Costing, and Project Accounting.

We need FICO architect who have greenfield implementation experience (not brown or Bluefield) on s4 2023 version.

He/She should be a Finance and COPA area.

Preferably with industry background of semiconductor intel, Nvidia etc.,

• This is a hybrid role (San Jose is the core Silicon Valley location) and look for local folks
• semiconductor industry experience is not mandatory
• Please share their availability to interview tomorrow morning hours or today evening hours (overlapping with India time zone)
• Please ensure they do not have any long vacation plans for Thanksgiving / December considering this is a short-term role.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Architect with strong expertise in SAP Finance, organizational design, and complex business transformations.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance, legal entity design, tax, treasury, project accounting, product costing, and SOX controls. The architect will work closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to determine the appropriate SAP organizational structure, including the critical decision between establishing a New Legal Entity or a New Plant.

This role will define the target-state finance architecture and provide architectural leadership throughout implementation, go-live, and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance solution architecture for establishing a new legal entity.
• Design and configure the appropriate SAP organizational structure, including: Legal Entity
• Company Code
• Profit Center
• Cost Center
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on New Legal Entity vs. New Plant based on business, legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into a scalable SAP S/4HANA 2023 Finance architecture.
• Design solutions supporting: Financial Accounting and Reporting
• Tax Compliance
• Treasury and Cash Management
• Product Costing
• Project Accounting / Project Systems
• Intercompany Accounting
• SOX and Internal Controls
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, Manufacturing, Internal Audit, and IT teams to define the target-state solution.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide recommendations to senior executives and business stakeholders.
• Ensure integration between Finance and other SAP business processes, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Project Systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

Required

• 12+ years of SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA Architecture experience.
• Experience with at least 3 legal entity implementations.
• Experience with at least 2 Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong experience in Finance organizational structure and legal entity design.
• Hands-on experience with Company Code, Plant/Fab, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project Accounting, and Intercompany processes.
• Experience working with SOX controls and external audits.
• Strong ability to work with senior business, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT stakeholders.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and solution architecture skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor industry.
• Experience supporting Fab manufacturing environments.
• Experience working in complex multi-company / multi-entity environments.
• Experience with large-scale ERP transformations.
• Experience with AI-driven solution design, modeling, or emerging SAP AI capabilities.
