Job summary

Info Services is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant to lead FI/CO configuration across end-to-end project implementations. You will work with clients to design, configure, and validate SAP FI/CO processes, ensuring alignment with business needs.

On-site role in Dearborn, MI requiring hands-on S/4HANA FI/CO expertise, strong ABAP reading skills, and experience in multi-currency environments within a Product Driven Agile setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on S/4HANA FI/CO configuration lead with end-to-end implementation experience.
• 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in SAP development.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Experience in multi-company code and multi-currency environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver SAP solutions using agile methodologies.
• Determine suitable technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
• Create high-level SAP FICO architecture designs.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, etc.

Job description

Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements. Full-stack software engineering roles, who can develop all components of software including user interface and server side also fall within this job function. 7+ years of configuration experience in S4 FI and CO modules: FI-GL, AP, AR, AA required. CO-PC, CO-CCA, CO-ML, CO-PA

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions
• 2. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies
• 3. Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
• 4. Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application
• 5. Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc.
• 6. Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices.
• 7. Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• 8. Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• 9. FCV/FCTA stand Program knowledge
• 10. Support Month end close Programs
• 11. Substitution and Validations

Engineer 3 Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang. 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development

Experience Preferred:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• Experience working in a multi-company code, multi-currency environment is required.
• Ability to perform in-depth hands‑on configuration of required SAP FICO modules.
• Analyze problems and troubleshoot to find the root cause.
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code (but not perform any technical development).
• Good knowledge of integration with other S4 modules – Purchasing, Sales and Production
• Development experience using various SAP development technologies including but not limited to the following: ABAP, Integration, and UI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization.
