Job summary

Covetus is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance specialist to support and enhance GL, AP, AR, intercompany, FA, and financial close activities. You will analyze business requirements and deliver scalable FI solutions for new projects, enhancements, and process improvements, collaborating with business users during requirement gathering and deployment.

You will troubleshoot production issues, monitor month-end close, and manage SAP S/4HANA integrations with external systems via APIs,

Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance with expertise in GL, AP, AR, intercompany, FA, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience integrating SAP with external systems via APIs, IDocs, or OData.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA business transactions; AMS/Production Support exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close activities.
• Analyze business requirements and provide scalable SAP FI solutions for new projects, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Work closely with business users during requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Monitor and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Manage integration between SAP S/4HANA and external/source applications, ensuring accurate data flow and reconciliation.
• Analyze inbound and outbound interfaces, data mappings, validation rules, and integration job failures.
• Collaborate with technical, middleware, and external vendor teams to resolve interface and data issues.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and internal controls.

Job Responsibilities

Support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close activities.

Mandatory Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) with strong expertise in:
  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Bank Accounting and Reconciliations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience supporting SAP integrations with external systems through APIs, middleware, IDocs, OData services, or batch interfaces.
• Ability to track data flow from source systems to SAP, perform reconciliation, and troubleshoot posting failures.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA business transactions.
• Experience in AMS/Production Support environments with incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, accruals, prepaid accounting, auto-clearing, and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Skills

• CPA, CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or Accounting degree.
• Experience in Auto Finance, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
• Knowledge of SAP APIs, OData services, SAP CPI/PO integration platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira.
