Job summary

First Roles seeks a SAP RAR specialist to support revenue recognition within a complex SAP landscape in Plano, Texas. You will collaborate with OTC, GL, ABAP and integration teams to ensure accurate revenue processing and compliant ASC606/IFRS 15 treatment.

The role requires hands-on SAP RAR experience, strong problem solving, and excellent documentation and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and production support.

Required Skills

• Strong functional experience in SAP RAR basic knowledge of SAP RAR; possess sufficient hands‑on experience in the area.
• required skills in SAP RAR configuration, source-systems integration with RAR, and BRF+.
• required knowledge of ASC606 / IFRS 15 compliance, as its relevant to SAP RAR.
• Good understanding of revenue recognition concepts including contract modification, allocation, deferral, and recognition timing
• Experience supporting integrated business flows tied to billing and finance
• Ability to analyze end-to-end issue impacts across source transactions, SAP processing, and accounting results
• Experience with production support, incident handling, root cause analysis, and reconciliation
• Ability to work closely with OTC, GL, ABAP, and integration teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in subscription billing or recurring revenue models
• Knowledge of ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15
• Experience in legacy modernization to SAP
• Familiarity with interface-driven SAP landscapes
