Job description

We are seeking a Senior SAP QM Consultant with 10+ years of experience to provide comprehensive ongoing support and continuous optimization for the manufacturing operations of our customers. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for sustaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our quality management processes across both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will ensure system stability, drive operational excellence, and align our SAP system with global manufacturing quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ongoing Support & Maintenance: Provide high-level (Tier 3) application support, troubleshooting complex system bugs, and resolving day-to-day operational issues in SAP ECC and S/4HANA QM modules.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks in manufacturing quality workflows and implement system enhancements, change requests, and standardizations.
• Cross-Functional Support: Maintain and optimize critical integration points between SAP QM and other active modules, specifically PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
• System Health & Updates: Oversee regression testing for system upgrades, support packages, and regular maintenance blocks to ensure zero disruption to production lines.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain up-to-date functional specifications, training catalogs, and system configuration documents in alignment with corporate compliance.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical lead and mentor to junior support analysts and key users across different manufacturing sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of proven experience as an SAP QM Consultant, with extensive hands-on expertise in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms.
• Support Expertise: Strong background in Application Support Management (AMS) environments, ITIL processes, SLA management, and ticketing systems.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing quality gates, including Quality Planning, Inspection Lots, Results Recording, Defect Management, and Notifications.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of master data management in QM (sampling procedures, inspection plans, characteristics) and familiarity with SAP Fiori apps.
• Language: Fluent or professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry manufacturing certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, IATF 16949, or ASQ) are a strong plus.
• Official SAP S/4HANA Quality Management certification.
