Job summary

A leading software solutions provider is looking for an experienced SAP QM Consultant with 10 to 20 years of expertise. The candidate should be proficient in SAP QM and PP modules and have hands-on experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, and guiding ABAP developers. Ideal applicants will have experience in both aerospace and defense or automobile industries, along with a strong understanding of inspection processes and SAP implementation projects. This is a contract position based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of experience as an SAP QM consultant.
• Experience in implementation and support of SAP Quality Management.
• 2–3 SAP implementation project experience in production planning & Quality modules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Quality Management.

SAP QM Consultant – Job Description

• SAP QM consultant with experience range 10 – 20 years.
• Configuration expert in SAP QM/PP modules. Can facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Quality Management.
• Industry experience of aerospace & defense or automobile would be nice to have.
• Exposure to the FIORI applications and S4HANA application would be preferred. Mandate experience on inspection type origin 03 & 04.
• Hands on with QM-MM, PP-QM integration. Experience in complex assembly manufacturing preferred. Knowledge on problem solving (D8) process preferred.
• Capable of requirement gathering, building functional specifications. Guide ABAP developer on the solution and test with business acumen.
• Sum up the business requirement into the business process and help breakdown those into the items to be built from development perspective.
• Awareness to the production order scrap process, Inline rework process and Rework from stock scenario would be a plus.
• At least 2 - 3 SAP implementation project experience preferred in both production planning & Quality module.
• SAP consultant with experience in Quality notification, Quality Inspection, Business workflow area.
• Hands on with SAP quality notification business workflow is a plus.
• Hands on experience on Quality management with procurement end inspection (Origin 01).
• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
• Through knowledge in material master, Bill of material, Routing (plan) and its usage & configuration. Deep knowledge on Serialization & batch management is requested
