Rate: 100/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Project Systems (PS) S/4HANA Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for our ongoing digital transformation, focusing on designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing SAP PS solutions within our S/4HANA landscape. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP PS, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful S/4HANA implementations, particularly in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or actively participate in all phases of the SAP S/4HANA Project Systems implementation lifecycle, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, data migration, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective SAP PS solutions, leveraging standard S/4HANA functionalities and industry best practices.
• Configure and customize SAP PS modules, including project structures (WBS, Networks, Milestones), project planning (cost, revenue, dates, resources), budgeting, commitments, actuals, project reporting, and integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM).
• Design and implement solutions for project billing (resource-related billing, fixed-price billing), project procurement, and project-based manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Production, etc.) to ensure seamless integration points and end-to-end process efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects and work closely with technical teams (ABAP, Fiori, Integration specialists) to ensure successful development and delivery.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate configured solutions and ensure they meet business requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of the new system.
• Participate in data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, and loading for project-related master and transactional data.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations, specifically in the Project Systems area, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP PS-related issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) implementations, with a strong focus on large-scale enterprise projects.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP PS, covering:
• Project Structure (WBS, Network, Activities, Milestones)
• Project Planning (Cost, Revenue, Scheduling, Resources)
• Budgeting and Availability Control
• Commitment and Actuals postings
• Project Reporting (Project Cost Report, Progress Analysis)
• Integration with FI/CO (Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Asset Under Construction, Revenue Recognition)
• Integration with MM (Project-based Procurement, Services)
• Integration with SD (Project-based Sales Orders, Resource-Related Billing)
• Integration with PP (Project-based Production)
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA specific changes and innovations in PS (e.g., simplified data model, Fiori applications, embedded analytics).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex project environment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
  

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• SAP Certification in Project Systems (PS) for S/4HANA.
• Experience with Capital Projects Management (CPM) within S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with other related SAP modules such as Investment Management (IM) or Real Estate (RE-FX) for project scenarios.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with Fiori applications relevant to Project Systems.
• Experience in the [specify industry, e.g., Engineering & Construction, Professional Services, Public Sector] industry.
