Job summary

SOMERSET STAFFING is actively seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead enterprise SAP transformation and enhancement programs in a manufacturing setting. This hybrid role is based in Reno, NV, and requires managing complex ECC projects with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP delivery, stakeholder management, and governance, with exposure to S/4HANA transformations.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years SAP delivery experience in projects.
• Minimum 5 years in project/program management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with global, distributed teams.
• Experience with SAP ECC upgrades and S/4HANA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP program and project delivery across ECC and related apps.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder comms.
• Drive governance, steering committee reviews, executive reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional SAP, infrastructure, business teams.
• Oversee cutover planning, testing, deployment, hypercare, and support transition.
• Align SAP initiatives with manufacturing objectives.
• Support S/4HANA assessment and transformation roadmaps.

Job Title: SAP Project Manager

Location: Reno, Nevada- Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead enterprise SAP transformation and enhancement programs within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong program delivery experience in SAP ECC landscapes, stakeholder management expertise, and proven success managing large-scale SAP initiatives. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP program and project delivery across ECC and related enterprise applications.


• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.


• Drive governance, steering committee reviews, status reporting, and executive communications.


• Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.


• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and quality standards.


• Manage cutover planning, testing, deployment, hypercare, and transition to support.


• Collaborate with business leadership to align SAP initiatives with manufacturing objectives.


• Support SAP S/4HANA assessment, roadmap planning, and transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 12 15 years of SAP delivery experience with at least 5 years in project/program management.


• Proven experience delivering SAP ECC implementation, rollout, upgrade, or enhancement projects.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes.


• Experience managing global and geographically distributed teams.


• Expertise in project planning tools and governance frameworks.


• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA project exposure.


• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.


• Experience working with manufacturing organizations.
